We are delighted to announce that our School will be open for an Open Day and Evening on Wednesday 19 October 2022.

The day will be split into two different events: an Open Day with structured daytime tours, as well as an Open House in the evening. More information about the events can be found in separate sections below.

These events are a great opportunity to find out more about life at Newman, meet some of our teachers, as well as talking to a few of our students that are already part of the Newman Family.

Open Day - Daytime Tours

Throughout the day, we are offering three tours to take a look around the school.

The times for these tours are as follows:

• 9:15 - 10:15
• 11:15 - 12:15
• 12:15 - 1:15

Our Open Day will offer the opportunity to learn more about life at Newman, as well as meeting some of the staff and students that form our Newman Family. If you choose to attend the Open Day, you are welcome to also attend the Open Evening event, as this will offer less structured tours and departments will be on hand to showcase what they do. More information about the evening can be found in the section below.

Open Evening - Principal Talks and Open House

As we are the largest Catholic School in England, our size allows us to provide something for everyone, therefore we want to ensure each parent and carer has the opportunity to gain the full experience of our site during the Open Evening. Therefore, we would suggest allowing yourself approximately one hour to look around the school as well as attending the Principal talk, which lasts around 20-30 minutes*.

During the evening, the school will be open for parents, carers and prospective students to take a look around. Throughout the evening event, you will have the opportunity to meet our staff, sample some of our catering, as well as speaking to various students about life at Newman.
