Just this week in school we have had the start of a four-day run of a Shakespeare comedy on top of the incredible work that goes on in the school and college on a daily basis.
Our school production - A Midsummer Night’s Dream - is now on! We cannot recommend this highly enough, the first two nights have been amazing and we have a few tickets left for tonight and tomorrow (matinee and evening) HERE.
Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard on the production and to the PFA for supporting the event with refreshments and merchandise. Special thanks to all staff involved but particularly to Mr Hammett, our Subject Leader for Drama and our incredible Director - we really are lucky
to have him.
Early reviews are in: ‘I haven’t laughed like that in a long time! Shakespeare at its funniest
and best... The students absolutely smashed it!!‘... 'Exquisite music arranged by Alastair
Webb, phenomenal choreography, exciting directing and an exceptional cast... and so
much fun!! One of the best Newman productions ever'... 'I went to see A Midsummer
Night's Dream in Regents Park in the summer - this completely surpasses it!'... 'The best
production of A Midsummer Night's Dream I've ever seen! Unforgettable fairies, luminous
lovers, miraculous Mechanicals and a spectacular supporting cast. My face ached from
laughter at the end.”
