EPQ Launch - Wednesday 1 March

The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is an independent research-based qualification which enables you to explore a topic outside the regular curriculum AND learn new skills. Some universities make reduced offers to students with excellent EPQ grades and others, such as UEA who offer bursaries. This is because they value the skills that the EPQ teaches. An EPQ can be worth up to 28 UCAS points!

If you're interested in discovering more about the EPQ please come to this year's EPQ Launch, 2-3pm in the Newman College Lecture Theatre, Wednesday 1 March. There'll be a chance to hear more about what the EPQ involves and why universities value it as an additional qualification. You'll also be able to hear from current Year 13 students; they'll be sharing their experiences of the EPQ and answering your questions.

If you can't make it to the Launch event but want to find out more email Mr. Shears on p.shears@cncs.co.uk
