Monday 10 October 2022 is World Mental Health Day, focussing on 'Making mental health and wellbeing for all, a global priority.'
Here at Cardinal Newman Catholic School, we take the Wellbeing of our students very seriously and offer various support for those that might need it.
I need to talk...
We offer a service for students to fill out a form to let someone know about their worries, for both themselves and others around them. A member of staff will then get back to the student to discuss their worries. Alternatively, we have a great support network around the school. Students can speak to:
Form tutor
The school nurse who is in every Thursday
For urgent support regarding your child’s emotional mental health and wellbeing, call Specialist CAMHS on 0300 304 0061 between 08:30 am – 4:00 pm.
Wellbeing email
Students can email wellbeing@cncs.co.uk if they have any concerns.

TAKE NOTICE - Remember the simple things that give joy
KEEP LEARNING - Embrace new experiences, see opportunities, surprise yourself
GIVE - Your time, your words, your presence
