This week, our Year 9 and 10 students were able to engage with a variety of Post-16 Providers to talk about the various pathways they can explore once they finish their studies at Cardinal Newman Catholic School.
We had a great variety of providers ranging from academic studies to apprenticeships, as well as the various options in the Armed Forces!
The day was a great success and many students found it useful to start thinking about their pathways at this stage of their studies.
One provider said: "Your students have been incredible today... super engaging and it's so great to see them interested in the various pathways they can explore"
This is just one of the events that will be hosted by our Business, Enterprise and Careers Hub (BEACH) throughout July, with various opportunities for our other year groups to speak with providers. Our BEACH programme aims to work with local businesses in providing support to our students with the Career Programme, offer Enterprise Opportunities, as well as networking with businesses to generate partnership opportunities.
